6th Forum Union Internationale des Avocats
Under the theme of “Restructuring firms and compliance – new trends” was held in Lisbon the 6th Forum of business law organized by UIA Union Internationale des Avocats.
Our offices – Brazil and Portugal – were present, represented by Mr. Diogo Manoel. First line themes were addressed in the current market conditions, such as – M & A restructuring and financial agreements – Taxation of corporate restructuring agreements – or the banking sector and financial services – being widely discussed various topics. It was registered the presence of several national and foreign personalities, as well as the presence of the Portuguese Minister of Justice who drew a picture of the Portuguese legislative developments in relation to the matters dealt in particular, as well as changes in governmental perspective that was found in the current legislature.
